Terms of Sale

The Pennsylvania Relief Sale accepts cash, check, and credit cards. All goods and services are sold “as is, where is, without guarantee, and are non- refundable.” Buyers are strongly encouraged to examine items carefully, ensure the conditions are satisfactory, and to bid accordingly. Goods sold at auctions may be subject to a reserve price at the sale’s discretion.

All goods purchased must be paid for, picked up, and removed from the premise on the same day as purchased. Select items from the Silent Auction will be available for pick-up at the MCC Material Resources Center (MRC) in Ephrata from Tuesday to Friday, April 9 – 12. Successful online bidders in the Quilt Auction can arrange to have items shipped to them at the customer’s expense; refer to page 24. These terms of sale are subject to change.

If able, paying with cash or check avoids credit card fees charged to the Pennsylvania Relief Sale – that means more money in net proceeds that can be donated to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). Checks can be made payable to: PA Relief Sale

Service Animals Policy

The Pennsylvania Relief Sale does not permit animals in any venue where sale or sale-related activities are conducted. There are two exceptions:

1. Service animals are permitted.
2. Emotional support dogs or cats are permitted if accompanied by appropriate documentation. In either case, the owner will be held totally responsible for the behavior of the animal

Thank you for your support!

Fun activities for children take place throughout the two-day sale with many things to do:

  • Playing & Exploring in the Children’s Area
  • Listening to stories from Around the World
  • Joining the Fun at the Variety Show: Sharing Your Talent
  • Eating donuts, ice cream, and delicious food from around the sale

All proceeds from the Children’s Activities at the Sale will support the work of MCC. Learn more about MCC’s programs.
