Volunteers at the Craft Stand sell a wide variety of already-priced, new, quality items that were handcrafted and donated by Mennonite and Amish women and men mostly from Pennsylvania.
Items include quilts and comforters, pillows, wall hangings, table runners, crocheted hats, sweaters, booties, baby blankets, scarves, pot holders, dishcloths, scrubbies, pillowcases, wheelchair and walker bags, totes, Christmas crafts, jewelry, bead work, paper crafts, and more! All proceeds from the Craft Stand benefit Mennonite Central Committee.
In addition to the various auctions and activities, the following booths are open for shopping Friday and Saturday of the Relief Sale: Plant Stand - Find a variety of flowers, shrubs, and gardening accessories. Located on Quilt Parkway.
Quilter's Attic - Quilters, sewers, and crafters alike can purchase sorted, packaged, and priced quilt- and sewing-related items. Find something unique for that next project. Located on Quilt Parkway.
Ten Thousand Villages - Offers handmade crafts, collectables, and gifts from artisans around the world through fair trade. Ten Thousand Villages is a partner of MCC. Located on International Blvd.
New & Used Books - Shop hundreds of books from Book Savers and Choice Books. Located on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Share-A-Meal - Generous donors invite you to share a meal at their home. A wide variety of meal styles are available. Located on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Mennonite Central Committee - Offers information about its latest projects and initiatives. MCC also sponsors Treasure Cove - featuring merchandise from various MCC Thrift Stores. Located on Pennsylvania Avenue.
