The 62nd Annual Quilt Auction at the Pennsylvania Relief Sale celebrated the work of numerous artists and needle workers. The 2018 Quilt Auction raised $115,635!
Quilters spend hours choosing patterns and fabric, piecing, appliqueing, embroidering, quilting, and finishing. Hundreds of people attend the two-day live auction to view and bid on the region’s finest handcrafted quilts.
Friday’s auction on April 6, 2018 featured pieced quilts and wall hangings, as well as knotted comforters and pre-print items. Saturday’s auction on April 7, 2018 featured pieced, appliqued, and vintage quilts of all sizes.
Reserved seating is available only for Saturday’s quilt auction and the cost is $10 per chair. Seats may be reserved in person at the sale or in advance by contacting Kim Wagner at firstname.lastname@example.org.The theme of the 2018 Traveling Quilt was Food. The traveling quilt was auctioned on Saturday, April 7, during the Quilt Auction. Bids were accepted as donations to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).The traveling quilt is not actual sold. The 2018 Traveling Quilt raised $5,500!

The Silent Auction at the Pennsylvania Relief Sale featured unique items for sale. The 2018 Silent Auction raised $9,390!
Items included artisan jewelry, themed gift baskets, event tickets, original artwork including paintings and pottery, photography, antiques, wood creations (including toys), hand-knit and handmade items, vintage linens, collectibles, and children’s items. NEW for 2018! Buy It Now bidding option for Friday evening and prior to bid closing times on Saturday. A “Buy It Now” price will be listed with an item for instant purchase. Saturday bid closing times are 12:30 p.m and 1 p.m. as posted in respective sections. The Country Auction at the Pennsylvania Relief Sale featured a variety of goods from across Central Pennsylvania. The 2018 Country Auction raised $13,977 plus $3,460 for Collectible Coins sold!
Items included miniature replicas, quilt racks, hand painted items, glass, furniture, and collectibles, including coins and cards (when available).
The Country Auction took place on Saturday, April 7, 2018.
All bidders must register for a number at the Registration Table upon arrival to participate in any or all of the auctions.
